There’s something sinister growing in the Green House…

Escape Hunt, Brussels, Belgium- the Green House- Frustratingly fun!

Let me start by saying- they have a really cool reception area with plenty of seating if you are a big group of humans. The staff where super friendly and accommodating- we arrived really early and they helped us right away, but as you know this is luck of the draw.

Now lets get down to why you are really reading this blog…

The room was really well themed and decorated, a lot of effort, time and money went into the design and props and it was a fantastic authentic experience. There was only 1 lock- which was a great reprieve from the norm of a gazillion locks to be seen every where. We made some really silly rookie mistakes in the first 20 minutes and we are still kicking ourselves, hint always search the room before you do anything else!

There was 1 or 2 outside logic puzzles that I personally feel they should have put a snipped it in the room somewhere ’cause not everyone knows that ”beep” is part of the ”beep” family- ahh you see what I did there, you thought I was going to give you the answer…, but over all it was a fun experience.

The puzzles where a nice mix of ”I am an Einstein Rock star” and ”I can never show my face in public again- how could I not see that!”.

Sadly we did not make it and was eaten by the Green House plants, but our awesome game master was super nice and let us finish- we where right there, the story of so many lives.

Over all I would rate them a 4/5 and would go back for another room.

We got offered a drink and some toffees afterwards ’cause who doesn’t need sugar on a cold Sunday night after being eaten by mutinous plants of doom.

Some after thoughts…

As always Escape rooms are pricey, this was not the most expensive we ever played and being only 2 players we always pay the more expensive prices. So we paid 66 euro’s for the 2 of us. Parking was easy, plenty on the street right outside the venue and there is also a Parkade not 20 meters from the venue if you cant find any open spots outside. They have a nice big sign so you just need to use your vision to locate them. There are bathrooms inside the building, all you need to do. The games can be played in French, Dutch and English, just make sure to let them know so that they can have the appropriate game master on hand.
